Naturally every human being strive for personal power and a sense of our own identity, but we also seeks to adjust to the society and make out our contributions to the greater good.
A thousand of talents and capabilities arises from the feelings of inadequacy. According to Alfred Adler. A desire for recognitions often lead to sense of inferiority complex, we always feel inadequate when we develop the wish to win a the expense of the others.
Sense of inferiority complex will always shape someone's whole life either for positive or negative, sometimes inferiority complex will make us to be:
-timid or withdrawn from a course.
-fear in taking action(s) or making active decision(s).
-Subjected ourself under the control of others.
If we can make positive use of our feelings of inadequacy, it will help us to unleash what we are capable of and good at, by taking proper self capability evaluation, e.g. what are the things I possessed that others don't have? and what did they possessed that I do not have?
